Hi, I’m Cait!
KANSAS CITY PERSONAL STYLIST, INTERIOR DESIGNER, & ARTIST
I believe your closet and your home should feel like you. Not the version of you that you think you're supposed to be. The actual you. The one who loves to play, values beauty, and knows that how you show up matters.
I've spent over a decade helping women design wardrobes and spaces that match the lives they've built. And now I’d love to help you do the same.

Live Out Loud ✦
I didn't start out calling myself a personal stylist and interior designer.
But looking back? This has been my path since high school.
My mom was technically my first client. I'd mix and match her suits to create new work outfits, breaking all her "rules" in the process. That same year, I worked for an architecture firm learning interior design, and the next summer I added a job at a local boutique.
That's where the magic happened. I watched women gain confidence and joy by putting on something that made them feel great. I was hooked.
I went on to study Apparel Merchandising in college and minored in studio art. That combination is why I love creating fun, complex, original ideas through homes and wardrobes.
After college came retail, where I learned what styling looks like in everyday life. In 2012, I launched Sophisticaited, a blog where I shared outfit ideas and styling tips. That turned into C4 Styling in 2015, where I started working one-on-one with clients who were done guessing and ready to feel confident.
By 2024, I rebranded to Cait Fore and expanded into interior design. I realized the same women who needed help with their wardrobes also needed help with their homes. They had great taste. They just needed someone to help them trust it.
And now?
Dolly Studios.
The truest, most colorful, most aligned version of this work I've ever created.
How I Got Here
High School
(Where It All Started)
My mom was my first styling client. I worked at an architecture firm learning interior design, then added a job at a local boutique where I watched women transform the moment they put on something that made them feel great. That's when I knew this was my path.

College
(Apparel Merchandising + Studio Art)
I studied fashion with dreams of owning my own boutique one day and minored in studio art. This combination taught me how to create complex, original ideas through both homes and wardrobes.
Retail
I learned how real women shop, what actually works for different bodies, and how to solve problems in real time. This is where I got my education in people, not just clothes.
Sophisticaited Blog + Influencer
(2012)
I started sharing my own style online and realized there was a whole community of women who wanted help but didn't know where to start.
C4 Styling
(2015)
I officially became a personal stylist and started working one-on-one with clients. This is where I learned that styling is equal parts strategy, education, and confidence-building.
Cait Fore
(2024)
I expanded into interior design and rebranded to reflect the full scope of what I do: helping women design their lives, not just their wardrobes.
Dolly STudios
(2026)
I officially became a personal stylist and started working one-on-one with clients. This is where I learned that styling is equal parts strategy, education, and confidence-building.
HOW I WORK
The Dolly Studios Approach
At Dolly Studios, styling is about building a life that feels like the one you’ve always wanted.
Here's what that looks like:
-
Your closet. Your furniture. Your actual body and actual life. No shame spirals or starting from scratch. We're editing, refining, and styling what's already there and adding in the pieces needed to bring your dreams to life.
-
This isn't just about handing you a shopping list or rearranging your living room. I will guide you to understand your personal style, your body, your space. So when I'm not there, you can keep making great decisions on your own.
-
Whether I'm reorganizing your closet so getting ready takes half the time or redesigning your living room so it's both beautiful and functional, I believe every inch of your life should work for you to make it more enjoyable and intentional.
-
This one is IMPORTANT. Life is busy. Getting dressed and keeping your house styled shouldn't feel like a part-time job.
-
Look. Styling bodies and spaces can feel vulnerable. I get it. And I also believe it should be fun. Expect color. Expect creativity. Expect me to get the shoppies over a perfect find. (You'll know it when you see it.)
At the end of the day, my job is simple:
Help create tools for you to show up for your life and feel like yourself while you do it, inside and out.
Just a Few of My Favorite Things
Where you’ll find me when I’m not styling
Hunting for the perfect throw pillow, getting the shoppies over a new find, or talking about astrology and energetic timing (because yes, that matters too!)
My design aesthetic in three words
Colorful.
Confident.
Intentional.
Style Dictionary
The Shoppies
/ thuh shop-ees / • noun
That feeling I get when I find the perfect piece for a client. It's excitement, it's victory, it's a little bit of "oh, she's going to LOVE this." You'll know when I have the shoppies. Trust me.
Shop Your Closet
/ shop yohr kloz-it / • phrase
A reminder that how you "shop" your own closet matters. For example, clothes facing toward you? Easy. Clothes facing away? Annoying. This small shift is just one way to save time, energy, and decision fatigue. (And yes, the same logic applies to how you arrange and use the rooms in your home.)
Dress the Doll, Design the Dollhouse
/ dres thuh dol, dih-zahyn thuh dol-hous / • phrase
My whole philosophy in one sentence. We're styling you (the doll) and creating a home (the dollhouse) that feels like yours. Keeping the process playful, fun, and unique to YOU.
Warm to Cool
/ wawrm too kool / • phrase
This is how I organize clothing to create natural, visual breaks in your wardrobe lineup. (Similar idea as ROYGBIV, if you’re familiar with the rainbow color order!)
I want you to stop second-guessing yourself.
I want you to walk into your closet and know exactly what to wear.
To come home and feel proud and cozy.
To stop scrolling Pinterest at midnight wondering if you're doing it wrong and instead, start to trust your taste, your instincts, and your vision for your life.
You already have everything you need. You just need someone to help you see it clearly.
That's what I do. As your Kansas City personal stylist, interior designer, and creative partner, I help you design a wardrobe and a home that feels like you. So you can stop thinking about what you're wearing or how your living room looks, and start actually enjoying the life you've built.
